Red River's Cohen Dunnigan leads local runners with fourth all-state finish at state meet

JAMESTOWN, N.D. — Cohen Dunnigan closed out his high school career with another all-state finish Saturday afternoon at Jamestown's Parkhurst Campground/Pipestem Reservoir. The Grand Forks Red River senior paced local runners at the North Dakota Class A state cross country meet with a ninth-place finish. It's Dunnigan's fourth consecutive year earning all-state honors. "When I was a freshman and a sophomore and I did it, I was like, all right, if I can just do that two more times," Dunnigan said. "That wasn't the only goal I had, but that was definitely in the back of my mind, to be like, this is definitely possible to do this all four years. Just seeing it come true, it's been really cool."
